Lauren Sloat is a Doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Lo Med, proudly serving the Vero Beach community where she was born and raised. She began her career in healthcare as a CNA and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Florida Atlantic University in 2020.

With a background in orthopedics, primary care, and rheumatology, Lauren brings a well-rounded, patient-centered approach to care. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident and healthy from the inside out by focusing on root-cause medicine and overall wellness.

At Lo Med, she offers hormone optimization and replacement therapy for men and women (including bioidentical hormones and testosterone therapy), medical weight loss, thyroid optimization, comprehensive lab analysis, and sick visits. She also provides aesthetic treatments, including neurotoxin injections such as Dysport.

Lauren offers both in-person and telemedicine visits, ensuring accessible, ongoing support. She is committed to being a trusted, familiar face in the community and an advocate for every patient she serves.
