Calculating your protein needs!

I recommend a high lean protein diet! This type of diet has been known to cause less abdominal fat and also help sustain your weight loss!
The rule of thumb I follow is multiplying your weight in lbs by 0.7.
For a woman weighing 140 lbs, you would multiply 140 x 0.7 for a total of 98 g of protein a day!
For women, I recommend aiming for 90-120 g of protein daily
Men usually require more protein and aim 100-140 g of protein daily.
Protein makes you fuller for a longer period of time and also help reduces cravings and unhealthy snacking
